Quick College Eats is a 5-part video series designed to help young people on a budget make cheap, quick, healthy, and (of course) delicious dishes/snacks. Properly eating can be very difficult with the busy lifestyle young people are forced into these days. Hopefully this video series will help young men and women who are strapped for time and cash feel more comfortable stepping into the kitchen.
Each video goes step by step and visually shows each ingredient required and the approximate price of a serving. By keeping the ingredient list and the price tag low, the series aims to give confidence to those who need a little extra help keeping up a healthy lifestyle on a budget.
These recipes were chosen because, with only a few exceptions, most of the ingredients are staples in most households.The price approximation comes from the prices of the required ingredients based off of finding the cheapest options at our local grocery store. The approximation is also generous, and even if you have to buy all the ingredients fresh from the store, you are probably paying less than our guesstimation per serving!
