The cloves or the sections of the bulbous part are the area of garlic usually used for consumption. It is the medicinal value and health benefits that one receives from garlic that has made this vegetable the favorite among our species. This way the garlic helps to keep in check the blood pressure effectively. The fact that the doctors believe garlic could prevent nearly all of the cardiovascular diseases is in itself a feather in the cap for garlic. Garlic has shown very promising results in lowering the bad cholesterol, lipid, and harmful triglycerides to reduce the platelet segregation and increase antioxidant properties. Thromboembolism is a state in which blood clots that usually helps to prevent blood loss travels through the bloodstream as clots to organs like the brain, kidney or lungs.
