Previous cooking video:"Milo Puto" Follow us on social media: Instagram: schannel21 Pinterest: Twitter: No Oven Black Forest Cake Recipe CAKE BATTER INGREDIENTS 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 2 eggs 1 cup evaporated milk 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla ¾ cup warm water 1 or 2 (280g) bottle of maraschino cherries (500g) Dark chocolate bar, shaved WHIPPED CREAM FROSTING 500ml whipping cream, chilled overnight 3 tbsp sugar 1 tsp vanilla Procedure 1. Grease cake pan with cooking oil (vegetable oil, corn oil or canola oil). Then put parchment paper on the bottom of the pan. Set aside. 2. Combine dry ingredients. Sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, baking powder and unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix well 3. In another bowl combine eggs, evaporated milk, vegetable oil and vanilla. Mix well. 4. Make a well at the center of the dry ingredients mixture. Pour the wet ingredients at the center. Mix until well combined. 5. Add warm water and mix again until the mixture is well combined. 6. Divide cake batter into two equal portion to make two layer cake. Pour 1 portion of the cake batter into prepared greased pan with parchment paper at the bottom. Tap a few times to get rid of bubbles. 7. Steam over boiling water for 25-30 minutes in high heat or until bamboo stick inserted comes out clean. Cover with lid wrap in cotton cloth to avoid water dropping to the cake. Let it cool. 8. While waiting the first layer of cake to cool, steam the second layer of the cake. 9. When it’s already cool place serving plate on top of cake pan and invert plate. Release cake from the cake pan. Take off parchment paper. Place another serving plate on top of cake and invert it again. 10. Then cut top part of the cake to achieve even and flat surface. Don’t throw the excess cake you can still eat it. 11. Remove stems from the cherries and cut them in half or you can use whole cherries. Cherries without stems will be use as filling for the cake. Left some cherries with stems for the toppings. 12. Shave bar of dark chocolate using peeler or a kitchen knife. 13. Chill the mixing bowl and the beater overnight or for a few hours. Using the chilled bowl add whipping cream, sugar and vanilla. Beat over high speed until it forms a stiff peak. 14. Place first layer of cake on a serving plate. Brush top of cake with cherry syrup. Then spread whipped cream frosting evenly on top. Add cherries with no stems. 15. Put the second layer of cake and cover the top and sides of the cake with whipped cream frostings. 16. Cover sides of cake with chocolate shavings. Pipe swirls of whipped cream on top of cake. Then put stemmed cherries on top of the swirls. Put chocolate shavings on the center of the cake. 17. Ready to serve or you can chill in the ref until you’re ready to eat it. Enjoy! Welcome to my channel. For my first video I'll be showing you how to make Steamed chocolate cake with cocoa buttercream frosting.

Ingredients For The Cake:

1 pack chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup spring vegetable oil
1 cup water
(as instructed in the box)

For the COcoa buttercream frosting:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup cocoa
