Recipe Clarification: In this YouTube video, Roland said he used four cups of cooked rice but we realised he said it wrongly - it should be four bowls of cooked rice. He used a rice bowl to measure each bowl. Please adjust accordingly. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. This is our Din Tai Fung inspired Fried Rice w/ Shrimps. We actually stood outside DTF kitchen to figure out what ingredients were used. Opps - I hope we won’t be banned from Din Tai Fung because that’d be tragic. When we dine in Din Tai Fung, fried rice is one of our must-order dishes but instead of ordering shrimp fried rice, we always go for their pork chop fried rice. OMG so good! What you'll need: 2 Italian style hoagie buns (or half a large French bread loaf) 1/4 cup (56g) butter, softened 1/8 tsp salt (omit if using salted butter) 1/8 tsp dried garlic powder 1/2 tsp dried parsley 1/2 tsp minced garlic 1/2 tsp olive oil 1 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese 4 ounces (113g) mozzarella cheese Combine butter, salt, garlic powder, parsley, minced garlic, oil and parmesan in a small bowl. Spread onto open faces of hoagie buns. Place onto a cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 400*F oven for 5 minutes. When done, top with shredded mozzarella cheese and place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted, bubbly and golden. Serve with marinara sauce and enjoy! 1 large egg
1/3 cup frozen peas and carrots
2 Tbsp chopped onion
