Easy Homemade Rasmalai Recipe || Festival season special || how to make rasmalai

Rasmalai is a royal and delicious bengali dessert, Rasmalai is one of our absolute favorite. Best for festival season. It is an famous Indian sweet dish or dessert. Try this at your home. Cheese preparation. 1. Boil 1 litre of milk in a pan and add lemon juice to it. Wait till the water separates from the milk. 2. Now with a help of cloth, squeeze all the water from the cheese curd and let it cool for some time. Syrup Preparation: 1. In a pan add 5 cups of water and 1 & 1/2 cup of sugar and boil it to make it a thick syrup. Malai Preparation. 1. Take 1 litre of milk in a pan and boil it till the quantity is half of the original quantity. 2. Add, cardomom powder, saffron and dry fruit to it and let is boil for 8-10 mins in low flame. Method: 1. Mash the cheese with help of your palm as shown in video, till it becomes smooth. 2. Now make small pieces of the dough and give it good round ball like shape. 3. Put the Balls into the sugar syrup and boil it for 20 mins on medium flame. 4. After 20 mins, switch off the flame and let the rasgullas gets cooled. 5. Once the Rasgullas are cooled, squeez the syrup out of them (as shown) and put it in the malai. 6. Let is boil for 1-2 minutes and then swith off the flame. 7. Cool it and refrigerate it for 3-4 hours and then serve.
