PLEASE | SHARE | COMMENT | AND SUBSCRIBE | Muyal earchi Curry Ingredients Rabbit meat – 1kg Turmeric powder – 1tsp Red chilly powder – 1tsp Salt – 1tsp Ginger – 1 inch piece (cut into small pieces) Garlic – 5 cut into small pieces Onion – 2 cut length wise Curry leaves – a few Black pepper – 3 tsp Oil – 1 tbsp Method 1. Clean the rabbit meat and pat dry 2. In a kadai mix rabbit meat, turmeric powder, red chilly and salt. Mix it is nicely with hand 3. Cook this for 5 min. 4. While it is cooking take heat another kadai and add oil. 5. To this add curry leaves, ginger & garlic, sauté for a min 6. Now add onion and sauté till it becomes transparent. 7. Switch off the burner and add 2tbsp black pepper and mix well. 8. Add this to the rabbit meat which is cooking in a separate kadai and mix well. 9. Cover the lid and cook for 5 min. Note : rabbit meat has a very fishy smell, pepper is put in abundance to overpower this. 10. So at this level if you fell you can add a half or 1 tsp more black pepper. 11. Fat 750 g , cut in cubes shape (lamb) Salt 1 tsp or as per taste Black pepper 1 tsp Onion (optional) 1 medium size - cut in 4 pieces, Potatoes 4 to 5 pieces, cut in 4 pieces, Tomato 1 medium size, cut in 4 pieces, Lemon 1 large size (juice 10 ml) Green fresh chili 6 to 7 pieces Garlic cloves 5 to 6 pieces, Ginger half-inch pieces, Direction Dum-pukht : First Layer: In a large cooking pot ( 10 - 11 liters), cubes of fat from lamb being laid in the base, then add the second layer of meat and third layer with potatoes, onion, garlic cloves, ginger, green fresh chili, salt, black pepper and lemon juice. Now sealed the cooking pot very carefully with wheat flour dough. Dum Procedure Dum-pukht: Cook on high flame for first 5 minutes and then slow down on very low flame for next 3 hours approx. I took this butcher's knife from my junkyard but i don't exactly know the name of this kind of butcher's knife anyways this old and rusty knife found me something new to restore so i decided to restore it. I used patch tool in photoshop for thumbnail to show it more rusty. By the way this butcher knife or cleaver looks like a pirate's sword :D so i found it something interesting to restore. Anyways i did restoration just for fun because the effort and time, i put on this restoration is much worthy and we even can buy such a new cleaver for less amount. While melting brass wear safety masks to avoid zinc fumes. Also Remember to wear other SAFETY stuff during casting Metal because safety is first priority. It was totally rusted so i removed the rust with the help of DILUTE sulphuric acid. Dilution was compulsory for reaction with iron. Remember that use the acid with complete safety and having complete information because ACIDS are not playing liquids MUST wear safety or rubber gloves and keep outside all the procedure while you are using the acid because alot of gases fumes releases while the reaction takes place.
