Fish biryani is made of fish of your choice marinated with spices, fresh herbs and cooked with rice into a luxurious biryani. Fish biryani is an awesome Biryani dish in a world where Biryani's are mostly associated with either Lamb or chicken. Ingredients 3 tbsp biryani masala 1 tbsp chilli powder 1 bunch coriander leaves 1 cup curd 1 springs dill leaf as needed Dry garam masalas 2 lbs fish 1 cup fried onion 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 2 number green chillies 1 number lime 2 bunch mint leaves chopped 250 grams rice as per taste salt pinch turmeric powder as needed water Directions • first take fish pieces. • Next marinate the fish, add Chilli powder, turmeric,oil, lime juice, salt, biryani masala mix well and keep aside for 30 min. • In a pan add little oil and cook the marinated fish and keep aside. • In the same pan add curd, biryani masala 2t mint leaves, coriander leaves, dill leaf, ginger garlic paste, lime juice,green chillies, salt,fried onions half, mix well and add half of the mixture to the cooked fish. • Now boil the Rice, half cooked rice. • Now in the masala pan add the half cooked rice spread evenly add colour, onions, then spread the Fish pieces and masala. • cook for 20 min by closing the lid in very slow flame. Prawn Biryani is a traditional Indian dish prepared by layering spices, shrimp/ prawn, aromatic rice and cooked until done.
Prawn shrimp Biryani


1 cup oil
1 number Bari ilaichi
2 cup Basmati rice
1 tbsp biryani masala
2 number Chhoti illaichi
1/2 tsp chilli pdr
1 number coriander leaves
1 tsp coriander pdr
2 cup curd
1 stick Dalchini (cinnamon)
1 number fried onion
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp gr chilli
1/2 tsp Jeera -
1 tsp Jeera powder
1 bunch mint
400 grams Prawn
1 tsp Red chilly powder
1 to taste Salt


cook rice till 90 % done in salted and spiced water as shown with oil

heat oil and saute/fry shrimp as shown with marination as shown cook shrimp till 50 % done

add curd and all other spices and add shrimp and mix top with hot rice and let it cook for not more than 7-10 min

serve hot with other dishes
