Tandoori Chicken (Tandoori Murghi) Recipe. Classic tandoori chicken from India is marinated in yogurt, lemon juice, and plenty of spices, Tandoori Chicken http://www.vahrehvah.com/tandoori-chicken Ingredients 1 to taste chat masala 6 number chicken legs 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1 tsp Cumin Seed Powder 1 tsp garam masala pdr 1 piece Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp kastoori methi (dry fenu greek leaves 1 tbsp Lemon Juice 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp Peppercorns pdr 1 tsp Red Chili Powder 1 tsp red color 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp turmeric 6 tbsp Yogurt Directions 1. Clean and Cut 2 or 3 long slits on each piece. Apply salt ,chilli pdr and lime juice all over the chicken and keep aside for 15 minutes. 2. 0 . 2. ke marination with coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilies, kastoorimethi ,turmeric garam masala pdr red color to a smooth paste. Add 1/2 tsp salt to the paste and mix well with yogurt. 3 . apply it all over the chicken, making sure to apply well between all the slits and in 4. 4. Preheat your oven to 425 degree Fahrenheit. Cook for 20 to 35 minutes till the chicken is tender. Remove from oven, . 5. Ingredients: Wheat flour – 1cup Carrot – ¾ cup (Grated) Eggs - 2 Oil - 8 tbsp Baking powder- ¾ tsp Nutmeg powder - ½ tsp Cinnamon powder - ½ tsp Vanilla essence - 1 tsp or as per taste Salt - ½ tsp For caramelizing Sugar - ¾ cup Water - 6 tbsp Lemon juice – 1 tsp Salt - 2 cups (for layering the pressure cooker) Steps: To caramelize the sugar, heat a heavy bottomed pan and add sugar. Wait for the sugar to melt on low heat and turn golden brown. Keep stirring. Add water. The sugar syrup will solidify immediately. Keep stirring till it dissolves and gets mixed well. Add lemon juice. Transfer it to a bowl and let it become lukewarm. Crack in the eggs to a bowl. Add nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder, salt and vanilla essence and mix well. Sieve in the flour and baking powder to the egg mixture. Add oil, grated carrot and lukewarm sugar syrup. Mix well. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes. Line the bottom and sides of cake pan with butter paper. I used a 6" cake pan. Transfer the cake mixture to the pan. Gently tap the pan to remove air bubbles in the cake mixture. To bake the cake, add 2 cups of salt to a pressure cooker. You can reuse this salt for 2-3 times. Level the salt by gently shaking the cooker. Place an inverted steel bowl as a base on the salt. Cover without the whistle and heat up the salt on high heat for 3 minutes. Place the baking pan on to the base and cook covered on high flame for 5 minutes and then switch to medium flame (medium-low for big burner). Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Open the cooker and check if the cake is cooked after 40 minutes. Transfer the pan from cooker and allow it to cool. Remove the cake from pan once cool. The plum cake is ready. It tastes better after 1-2 days. Notes: This can also be baked in a preheated oven also at 375°F/180°C until the toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. chaat masala powder - 1 tsp
lemon - 1/2
orange food colour
oil - 2 tbsp
butter - 1 tbsp

This recipe is easy to make and looks very beautiful! I love making this recipe for parties - it tastes great, can be made quickly, and everyone loves their look. It is perfect for the autumn/winter season.
