#shriskitchenworld Kerala mussel pickle The worlds one and only tasty pickle ever got such a name that mussel pickle. Yes, kerala mussel pickle got such a wonderful strand because of its taste only. Its crispy nature will attract everyone to it again and again after eat its once. Its a complete aquatic mussel widely farming in south india because of its large market. You can keep this mussel by pickled it . its my guarantee that you people will definitely like this pickle. It's very tasty and easy to make and you can store it upto 6 months in outside Ingredients Kerala mussel - 500 gm (cleaned ) garam masala - 1 tsp fennel seeds - 1tsp chilli powder - 4 tbs coriander powder - 1 tsp ginger garlic paste - 1 tbs ginger - 50 gm garlic - 5 whole turmeric powder - 1 tsp asafoetida - 1 tsp gingelly oil - 1/2 cup vegetable oil - 250 ml green chilli - 6 nos mustard seeds - 1 tsp dried red chillies - 4 nos fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp curry leaves/salt - as per taste vinegar - 1/2 cup Method of preparation Rinse out mussel meet with plenty of water . Add turmeric powder, 2 tbs chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, fennel seeds, garam masala and 2 tbs of water to beef pieces and marinade well , set it upto 3 hours. Deep fry the marinade mussels using vegetable oil until it's become crispy in nature. place a pan over the stove and add gingelly oil to it. When its heated add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds , dried red chillies and curry leaves to it. Add garlic followed by ginger and green chillies. When its become brown add asafoetida and 2 tbs of chilli powder to it and saute well. Now add fried mussels to it and saute again . Add salt to taste required for your pickle..Finally before turning off flame add vinegar to it and keep aside for cooling.
