Best Banana Pudding

I am just going to start off by saying this is going to be one of the greatest banana puddings you've ever had in your life. AND it's one of the easiest things you'll ever make - not even an Instant Pot is required for this one! In fact, there's ZERO cooking involved at all! Inspired by Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding, I just slightly tweaked it so it has a cold milk mixture instead of an ice water one giving it an even fluffier, smoother end result. When I made this for a party the other day, it went so quickly I barely got to have some myself and at least six people came up to me asking for the recipe. I would be willing to wager that the same will happen to you. Are Bananas Healthy - Should You Be Eating Bananas

For more info: https://draxe.com/banana-nutrition/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Jul-2013&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=bananas Today on The Chopping Block, our special guest is the banana. One of the most common questions I get from people is: Are bananas good for me? While bananas have great health benefits, they do have a higher sugar content compared to other fruits. Bananas are teetering on the edge of the chopping block. Negatives of Bananas: 1. Bananas contain a lot of sugar, very little protein, and no healthy fat. -1 medium-sized banana contains 27 grams of carbohydrates—14 grams of which are sugar—only 1 gram of protein, and 0 grams of fat. -Bananas, when eaten alone, may affect blood sugar levels. -Bananas are higher on the glycemic index, so they tend to affect insulin and blood sugar more than other fruits, such as berries. Benefits of Bananas: 1. Bananas are one of the most potassium-rich foods in the world. 2. Bananas are rich in electrolytes to help fuel the cells. -1 banana contains 500 milligrams of potassium and 32 milligrams of magnesium. 3. Bananas are lower on the glycemic index and have a lower amount of carbohydrates than whole grains. 4. Bananas are a great source of fiber. 5. Bananas are real food—unprocessed and unhybridized. Conclusion: -For people who are trying to lose weight or have digestive issues or sensitive blood sugar, bananas are not the best option but still better than whole grains. -For people who are athletic, lean, and healthy, bananas are a great option. *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Add 3 Tbs. chia seeds to 1 cup filtered water.I like to use a mason jar for storing this drink because it's easy to make/shake/and drink with. 2. Now put the lid on and shake it up. 3. Now it's time to wait. I usually wait at least 20-30 minutes, but you could wait several hours or even over night. This allows the chia seeds to soak up the water and form a gel-like texture. 4. Next add 1 cup of your favorite juice. 5. Shake it up and drink! "Advanced Chia Seed Drink" 2 cups filtered water 3 Tbs. chia seeds 1 lemon juiced 1 Tbs. agave nectar or maple syrup STEPS: (similar to the steps listed above): 1. Pour 2 cups of water into the mason jar, followed by 3 Tbs. chia seeds. 2. Then close the lid and shake to mix it up. 3. Allow the chia seeds to sit for 20-30 minutes or longer, you could do a couple of hours or even overnight. They will have then formed a gel about like this. 4. Now add the juice of one lemon and 1 Tbs. of maple syrup or your favorite liquid sweetener. 5. Give it another good shake and then drink up! It will taste similar to a natural lemonade...with chia seeds!
