For Dough -
2 cup all purpose flour
Pinch of salt
½ cup orange juice
3 tbsp melted clarified butter
2 tbsp semolina
2 tbsp milk
For Stuffing –
2 tbsp melted clarified butter
1 cup desiccated coconut
¼ cup dried cheery
¼ cup dried strawberry
¼ cup dried pineapple
3 tbsp white sugar
Oil – for frying
For Dough -
1. In a bowl, add flour, salt & semolina. Mix well
2. Add clarified butter & mix well with hand until the mixture looks like bread crumbs.
3. Add milk & orange juice to knead a soft & smooth dough.
4. Cover the dough with dump cloth & rest for 15 – 20 minutes.
For Stuffing –
1. Heat clarified butter in a pan & adds desiccated coconut. Stir until golden brown.
2. Add dried cheery, dried strawberry & dried pineapple.
3. Add Sugar & cook until well corporate.
4. Turn off heat & cool down slightly,
For Pie –
1. Roll out the dough & divide into small pieces.
2. Take a small piece of dough & roll out.
3. Cut roundel & add spoonful of stuffing.
4. Fold & seal the edges with a fork
5. Deep fry until golden brown.
