I always get very less time to spent with my boys, ever since I started YouTube. I have been inviting guests home and giving them my best, me and my husband would give a treat to each other, be it an eat out (along with kids ofcourse), or gift. But my kids were kind of left out. So I decided to give them a homely treat with their choice of food and we spent some time with them at Sparky’s playing area. They were totally refreshed and happy which made me very happy. Few dear friends had come over for dinner at our residence. I had prepared some recipes that I had not shown on my channel. So instead of just a recipe video, I thought it would be more entertaining if I made it a vlog.

Ingredients:

TOFFEE CHEESE CAKE :
• Condensed Milk – 1 tin
• Cream Cheese – 400 gms
• Digestive biscuits – 10-15 ( according to how thick you need your first layer )
• Melted butter – ½ cup
• Fresh cream – 100 grams for cheese layer + 200 gms for final layer
• Gelatine – 10 gms
• Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
• Cake slices

LASSI:
• Thick Curd or yoghurt – 2 cups
• Cold milk – 1 cup
• Water – 1 cup or more as per you requirement of the consistency
• Sugar – ¼ cup
• Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

VEGETABLE FRIED RICE:
• Basmati rice – 3 ½ cups
• Vegetables taken here – 1 capsicum each ( orange, yellow, red, green), 2 cups of cabbage, 1 cup celery, 1 cup carrot, spring onion
• Garlic paste – 1 – 2 tbsp
• Oil
• Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
• Salt
• Soya sauce – 3 tbsp
• Vinegar – 3 tbsp

GOBI MANCHURIAN:
• Cauliflower – 2 medium sized
• Corn flour – 3 tbsp
• All purpose flour – 2 heaped tbsp
• Soya sauce – marrination 3 tbsp + curry 2-3 tbsp
• Tomato Ketchup – 3 tbsp
• Ginger & garlic paste – Marination 1 tbsp each + curry 1 ½ tbsp each
• Salt
• Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
• Oil for deep frying and curry
• Capsicum – 2 medium sized
• Spring onion – 2 stems
Corn Four for the curry - 2 tbsp + 1/4 cup water

CHICKEN ROAST IN TOMATO PUREE:
• Chicken pieces – 1 ½ kg
• Ginger & garlic paste – 1 ½ tbsp each
• Salt
• Green chilli paste – 2 tbsp
• Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
• Turmeric powder – a pinch
• Tomato – 4 large ( for 1 kg chicken its ½ kg tomato)
• Curry leaves – a handful
• Green chillies – 7-10 no.s
• Ghee
• Oil

SALAD:
• Labneh – 1 cup
• Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
• Honey – 3 -4 tbsp
• Salt
• Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
• Fruits & vegetables roasted here – 1 capsicum, 1 onion, 4 pears
• Other fruits & veggies used here – a cup of sliced grapes, lettuce, Sweet corn, sliced black olives

Roasting temperature - 220 degree Celsius for 30 minutes ( Check your oven settings, it may differ )

BEEF CURRY WITH ROASTED COCONUT:
• Beef pieces – 2 kg
• Shallots sliced – 1 cup
• Onions – 2 medium sized
• Tomatoes – 2 large
• Ginger & garlic paste – 1 ½ tbsp each
• Green chilli paste – 1 ½ tbsp
• Red chilly powder – 2 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 ½ tsp
• Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
• Fennel seed powder – 1 tsp
• Coconut – 1 cup
• Shallots – 3 – 4
• Curry leaves – a few
• Seasoning – 4 shallots, a few curry, Dried red chillies – 4


COOKING BEEF - Put on the weight of the pressure cooker, and keep on medium high flame. When the first whistle come, reduce the flame to low and cook for 20 minutes.
