Thepla Recipe ,Gujarati Thepla Recipe,dudhi thepla ,गुजराती लौकी थेपला,thepla recipe for travel Ingredients for Gujarati Thepla Bottle Gourd (लौकी ) - 300 gms ( 1 cup ) (grated ) Wheat flour (गेहूं का आटा ) - 2 cups ( 300 gms ) Fresh Curd (ताजा दही ) - 1/2 cup Oil (तेल ) - 3 to 4 tbsp Green Coriander (हरा धनिया ) - 2 to 3 tbsp ( chopped ) Green Chilies (तेल ) - 2 ( finely choppped ) Ginger Paste (अदरक पेस्ट ) - 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds(जीरा ) - 1/4 tsp Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर ) - 1 tsp Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर ) - 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर ) - 1/4 tsp Garam Masala (गरम मसाला ) - Less than 1/4 tsp Salt (नमक ) - 1 tsp or to taste How to Make Lauki Thepla : 1. Firstly peel and grate the bottle gourd. Wash again. 2. Grate it in fine pored grater from all 4 sides. 3. Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl, add grated bottle gourd to it. Add oil, salt, green chilies,ginger paste. 4. Also add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala,fresh curd. Mix all the ingredients well. Add finely chopped green coriander. Knead soft dough. 5. Cover and keep the dough aside for 15 to 20 minutes to set. 6. After 20 minutes, Grease palm with oil, and squash the dough. Meanwhile put tawa to heat. 7. Pinch out some dough, make dough ball, roll it out thin 6 to 7 inches in diameter. Meanwhile Pour some oil and grease the tawa. 8. Put the thepla to roast, when roasted from beneath, flip it. Grease with oil on the upper side, roast then flip it. Pour oil on other side as well. 9. Press and roast well till golden brown spots appear on both sides. Once cooked keep in a plate. Prepare all the theplas likewise. Serving: 10. Drool over this delicious Lauki Thepla anytime served with chutney, pickle or curd. 1/2 cup Water (to knead the dough)
1 tsp Oil

Valor Papdi nu Shaak -
Ingredients -
1 big potato peeled
2-3 tblsps Oil
1/2 tsp Ajwain (Carrom Seeds)
1/4 tsp Hing
1/2 tblsp Garlic Paste
1/2 tblsp Ginger Paste
2 tsps Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Haldi Powder
1 tblsp Dhaniya Jeera Powder (Coriander Cumin Seeds Powder)
1 big tomato chopped
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder
2 tsps Salt (or as per taste)
1-2 tblsp water
2 tblsps Hara Dhaniya

Gujarati Kadhi Recipe -
Ingredients -
1 cup medium sour Dahi (Yoghurt)
2 tblsps Besan (Chickpea Flour)
2 cups Water
1 tsp Garlic Paste
1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
1 tsp Ginger Paste
1 1/2 tsps Salt (or as per taste)
3 tsps Sugar
1/4 cup Water
Baghaar for Kadhi -
1 tblsp Ghee
2 Lavang (Cloves)
1 Dalchini (Cinnamon Stick)
2 Elaichi (Green Cardamom) (opened from the top)
8-10 Methi Dana (Fenugreek Seeds)
1 tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
1 lunch Hing (Asafoetida)
10-12 curry leaves
1 tblsp Hara Dhaniya
6-7 Pudina chopped (Mint Leaves)

Gujarati Khichdi Recipe -
Ingredients -
1 cup Rice
1/2 cup Toor Dal
3 cups water (to soak the water and dal)
2 taps Salt (or as per taste)
1/2 tsp Haldi Powder (Turmeric Powder)
1 tsp Ghee

Tori Ki Sabzi Recipe -
Ingredients -
250 grams Tori (peeled and chopped)
2 tblsps Oil
1/2 tsp Rai (Mustard Seeds)
1/4 tsp Hing
1 tsp Garlic Paste
1/4 tsp Ginger Paste
1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
1/4 tsp Haldi Powder
1/2 tblsp Dhaniya Jeera Powder
1 medium tomato chopped (optional)
